Angelina Jolie Visits Refugees on the Greek island of Lesvos PDF Print E-mail

UN Ambassador, Angelina Jolie, visited the Greek island of Lesvos today (Wednesday, March 15). The Hollywood actress/activist reviewed the refugee situation on the island. She landed on the island's "Odysseas Elytis" airport on a private flight.

The Hollywood actress, is the second celebrity to visit the island after Susan Sarandon's stay during Christmas, is expected to remain in Lesvos for at least one day and reiterate her message about the crisis. Jolie says the international community must address the root causes of the global refugee crisis.
