
Jennifer Aniston has finally shared the REAL recipe for her favourite salad while also disclosing the health and exercise routine she uses to maintain her youthful appearance at the age of 54 in an interview on the Today Show. We are not surprised that her recipe includes Greek Kalamata olives and feta cheese! Opa!
The former Friends star has now divulged the actual ingredients she uses in her’really hearty’ mix, nearly a year to the day after she said the widely circulated recipe for a salad that she was rumoured to have created every day on the set of the show was false.
She discussed her partnership with the fitness business Pvolve when discussing her favourite salad order with the Today show, which starts with butter lettuce as a base.
“I’m not a romaine fan. I love to have some mushrooms. I love sprouts. I love a little tomato. Avocado, Kalamata olives, always some cheese – never gonna give up my cheese. I’ll do sliced parmesan, pecorino, feta, or all of them!”
The actress tops her salad with either a chopped or poached egg for protein and adds sliced almonds or sunflower seeds for crunch. When it comes to dressing, that depends on the day. She usually chooses oil and vinegar or vinaigrette, but on the weekends, ranch dressing can be her choice.
The Aniston salad that went viral on TikTok after a food blogger named Hannah claimed to have the recipe for the version she ate on the set of Friends was not true. “That’s not true, not my salad. I don’t know where that has come from. It looks good, but it is not mine,” Aniston told Sian Welby earlier this year.
