The next Mamma Mia movie has been eagerly awaited for some years; Judy Kramer, the movie’s producer, even declared that everyone wants it. Following the triumph of the original shot on the beautiful Greek island of Skopelos in 2008, and the 2018 follow-up which was shot in Croatia, “Mamma Mia 3” is confirmed and .we can’t wait! Hopefully the 3rd instalment will be filmed in Greece like the original.
It was British comedian Alan Carr who confirmed the upcoming Mamma Mia 3 movie. He disclosed the details of the third movie in a recent interview with Capital Breakfast following the premiere of the new reality competition, “Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream,” on which he serves as a judge.
Carr, Jessie Ware, Samantha Barks, and Amber Riley, the other judges, are searching for the next contestant to play Sophie and Skye in the musical. Carr went on to say, “I have an exclusive for you. Producer Judy Craymer has confirmed that I will be appearing in Mamma Mia 3.” I exhorted them during our news conference to “say it, say it!” I wanted her to say that in front of the entire press because she had been drinking when she said it, so there you have it.
“So, like in the movie?” Sian tugged. “The movie, yeah, I’m going to Hollywood, baby,” Alan beamingly said.
In September, producer Judy Craymer stated to Vogue, “I think we have to bring a certain closure to these characters,” indicating that the third and final installment of the series is really in development.
Among the stars of the two first Mamma Mia hit films were Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth. However, we do not yet know who will be joining the third upcoming film.
